Lubeck, Travemunde and Behrensdorf

Lubeck Cathedral, another victim of war damage. Alongside the restoration was a reordering of the interior, and a glass screen placed across the nave to divide the space.  Art installation behind the screen, and chairs facing each other in the nave: services must be quite interesting.

We visited two sets of delightful almshouses, founded in the early 17th Century, and still a community today.

Travemunde: funny how a collection of things will bring back a memory of a place.  The 4-masted bark "Passat", Jellyfish, smoked fish stalls, hotel messenger on a segway, and a cycle tourist with a childs trailer loaded with his stuff....

Behrensdorf. The Stellplatz was beside an absolutely huge campsite, right in the middle of nowhere on the Baltic coast. Nearest shop, 9km, which we did on our bikes to get our shopping.

On the way to Kiel we saw a donkey park, and took the opportunity to have a break from cities, and had a thoroughly enjoyable morning.
